DE LA FONTAINE Industries will open a new factory in Sacramento, CA

SACRAMENTO, CA – DE LA FONTAINE Industries, a manufacturing company based in Quebec, Canada, specialized in designing and manufacturing steel doors and frames, will open a new factory located in the Sacramento region. This new facility will employ approximately 20 employees and is planned to officially open for December 2024.
DE LA FONTAINE Industries has invested to lease and equip 25,000 square feet of space in a facility on Ramco St, in West Sacramento, CA. This new manufacturing facility will house state-of-the-art production equipment, enabling the company to maintain short lead times and better serve its West Coast clients, in the States of California, Nevada, Arizona and Oregon.
“This new facility in the Sacramento region is a part of our global strategy, as it will reinforce DE LA FONTAINE Industries’ presence on the West Coast,” said Gabriel de La Fontaine, General Manager. ‘’We have worked for many years to expand our presence in the American territory. To satisfy better our customers of this burgeoning market, we realized it was necessary to assert a physical presence in the field.”
The company’s growth plan focuses among other things on acquisitions and opening of new facilities across the United States. In 2017, DE LA FONTAINE Industries had acquired a plant in Hyattsville, MD, and another in Grand Prairie, TX in 2019. From 2020 to 2023, the company has also opened a facility in Indianapolis, IN; Concord, NC; Orlando, FL; and Lebanon, TN, in addition to being present in Woburn, MA for several years. The DE LA FONTAINE Industries’ plant in Sacramento, CA will therefore be the company’s eighth facility in the United States.
